Referal program: “What are the changes to the Refer a Friend program?”
Our referral program has brought many happy investors to Bondora. And to keep our referral program the best in the business, we’ve made 3 important updates:
- Earn a 5% bonus on your friend’s investment, max €10,000. The maximum reward you can get per referral is €500. But, there’s no limit to the number of friends you can refer.
- Payout after 90 days. You’ll get your reward bonus payout 90 days after the calculation has been made, if all the criteria is met.
- Clearer Terms and Conditions. We’ve made the rules of the program simpler and clearer. Read the updated Terms and Conditions here.

Loans: “When will Spanish loans be available again?”
At the start of the corona crisis, we decided, as a precaution, to temporarily stop loan originations outside of Estonia. We will re-assess the situation in September to decide if it will support sustainable growth to re-introduce Spanish and Finnish loans to the marketplace again.
Credit card payments: “Why did you stop credit card deposits?”
Due to the news related to Wirecard we’ve decided to stop all new payment processes with them.
Instead, we’re promoting SEPA instant payments for even easier and simpler payments. Through SEPA, you can make payments to your account within 10 seconds or less, 24/7. It also uses 2-factor authentication for maximum security.
We are planning to test out new alternative card payment providers in 2020, but nothing beats SEPA payments when it comes to simplicity, security and speed.
Go & Grow: “Will the return rate of up to 6.75%* p.a. change if there is a big increase in investors?”
Currently, we don’t have any plans to change Go & Grow’s rate of return. If we notice a massive increase in cash inflow, we would focus on temporarily limiting the investment amounts per investor by creating a waiting list, rather than increasing the volume of loans. It’s very important for continuous sustainable growth that we don’t rapidly increase the number of loan portfolios. So, if we ever get into a situation like this, we’ll rather limit the investments to keep the net return rate stable.
“How long does it take for my payment to arrive?”
It takes between 1 to 3 business days for most transfers to reach your account. You’ll then get a notification. You can change these notifications from your dashboard under Manage preferences.
